Why Martial Arts?

Get active. Improve focus. Have fun!

👉Physical fitness...martial arts offer a place for kids with a wide range of physical abilities.  We all know physical fitness is important but for kids who learn and think differently it can be challenging to find an activity that works for them. 


👉Focus on connection between mind and body helps to boost self-control and focus.


👉Focus on individual growth and self-improvement. No one "sits on the bench"


👉Develop the ability to focus and move towards specific goals within a results oriented environment boosting self-esteem and the ability to look internally for validation.


👉Help to improve overall coordination, hand-eye coordination and awareness of their body in space.


👉Discipline through structure.


👉Burn Energy!!!


👉Anger Management...we all get angry.. but how we handle it is key.


👉Teaches respect and the importance of exhibiting at the academy and outside the academy.


👉It is FUN!!! Who doesn't want to kick and punch the heavy bags & break some boards!!
